Department of education quality and accreditation

The Department of education quality and accreditation is a key structural unit that ensures the development, monitoring and improvement of the internal quality assurance system of the educational process. The Department coordinates the processes of institutional and programmatic accreditation, organizes an internal assessment of the effectiveness of teaching, and also interacts with external expert and accreditation organizations.

The main goal of the department is to achieve high quality standards of education and meet the requirements of national and international educational standards.

Ensuring a sustainable education quality management system aimed at continuous improvement of the educational environment, academic programs and administrative processes in accordance with best practices and international standards.

To be recognized as a center of academic quality, contributing to the transformation of the Eurasian International University into a leading university of national and international level, offering education focused on competence, innovation and sustainable development.

STRATEGIC GOAL

Creation of an effective system of internal control and external assessment of the quality of education, ensuring the trust of stakeholders, increasing the competitiveness of graduates and meeting the requirements of national and international accreditation standards.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

1. Development and implementation of an education quality policy:

  • Formation and regular updating of internal standards and regulations;
  • Support for a culture of quality among teachers and students.

2. Monitoring and evaluation of the educational process:

  • Conducting regular internal evaluation of academic programs;
  • Analysis of academic performance, academic achievements and student satisfaction level;
  • Collecting feedback from teachers, students, and employers.

3. Preparation for accreditation:

  • Organization of institutional and programmatic accreditation;
  • Preparation of necessary documents, reports, and analytical materials;
  • Cooperation with national and international accreditation agencies.

4. Promoting the professional development of teachers:

  • Organization of seminars, trainings and courses on the quality of education;
  • Implementation of a self-assessment system and a teaching portfolio.

5. Integration of international quality standards:

  • Implementation of the principles of the Bologna Process and ESG standards (Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area);
  • Participation in international projects and educational ratings.

6. Information and analytical activities:

  • Support of the education quality database;
  • Preparation of reports and proposals for the university management;
  • Development of recommendations for improving educational programs and administration.
