Activities of the Academic Council
The Academic Council is the highest collegial governing body responsible for the overall scientific-methodological and organizational management of the university’s educational, scientific, innovative, and extracurricular activities.
Main Functions:
- Defining the university’s development strategy;
- Reviewing and approving educational programs;
- Making decisions on the establishment, reorganization, and liquidation of faculties, departments, and other structural units;
- Considering personnel policy issues, including awarding academic titles and nominating candidates for positions;
- Approving the university’s annual reports and plans for scientific and educational activities;
- Awarding honorary titles and distinctions;
- Promoting academic mobility and international cooperation;
- Monitoring compliance with academic ethics and education quality standards.
