Rector of EIU at a meeting at the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic
On May 20, 2024, the Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliev met with the rectors of medical higher educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan.
During the meeting, issues of safety, health and education of foreign students at universities in Kyrgyzstan were discussed.
The minister emphasized the importance of attracting foreign students for education in Kyrgyzstan, justifying this in the context of the development of international educational relations and cultural exchange. He asked to hold explanatory conversations with his students and assured that the situation was under the control of all relevant authorities. He also called on the rectors to provide full assistance with treatment to those foreign citizens who are in university clinics of universities.
This meeting aims to build trust between educational institutions and international students, as well as improve the standards of health care in the university environment.
For information: At this time, 5 foreign citizens are undergoing inpatient treatment. There are 2 in the emergency hospital, 1 in the National Hospital, 2 in the Amanat clinic. The condition of the victims is stable.
8 patients from the clinic of the International Medical University were discharged for outpatient treatment in satisfactory condition.
