Open day at the EIU: a step toward the future

The Eurasian International University (EIU) welcomed high school graduates from the Kemin district as part of its career guidance program. This event marked an important milestone for many students, offering them a chance not only to explore the university but also to experience the atmosphere of modern medical science.

The tour began with visits to the departments of design, art, and tourism, followed by a walk through the morphological building and vivarium. Here, the students had a rare opportunity to witness preclinical research and observe training surgeries on animals. This firsthand exposure gave them a deeper understanding of how practical and high-tech medical education can be.

The university’s state-of-the-art laboratories sparked genuine interest among the students. Many of them saw, for the first time, what real scientific work in medicine looks like from the inside. From experiments and research to hands-on training, the students saw science come to life.

Next, the group visited the lecture halls and the scientific library, where the highlight was the Pirogov anatomical table — an interactive 3D system for studying the human body. This demonstration of digital technologies in education left a strong impression on the future applicants and showcased how progressive medical training at EIU is.

Another significant stop on the tour was the university clinic, equipped with the latest medical technology. Students observed real medical procedures, interacted with doctors and students, and learned about modern methods of diagnosis and treatment. It was a unique chance to see how theory turns into practice.

The day concluded with a meeting with the university’s administration, where they discussed admission opportunities, career planning, and future cooperation with educational institutions in the region.

The Open Day proved to be both informative and inspiring. The Eurasian International University once again confirmed its role as a center of advanced medical knowledge, open to talented youth. Its doors are always open to those who strive to become part of the medicine of the future.
