Practice-oriented training for foreign students of the Faculty of Medicine

To implement practice-oriented training in the educational process for the Faculty of Medicine, stages of studying the disciplines of the professional block were developed. Having studied the theoretical material, the teacher and the student practiced practical skills in dummy classrooms, then at clinical sites, supervising patients. This methodology provides an effective approach and allows students to develop professional competencies.

So, every week foreign students visit healthcare organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic that serve as clinical sites, according to Order of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 05-1/4816 dated 05/03/2023.

  • National Center for Phthisiology;
  • Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care in Bishkek;
  • Republican Center for Forensic Medical Examinations.

In addition, there are other agreements with clinical sites that foreign students of the specialty “General Medicine” attend. Faculty of Medicine, including an agreement with the central city morgue, where students can be present at the dismemberment of a corpse.
