Victor Kozodoy – Honorary Professor of the Eurasian International University

On December 13, 2023, the famous Russian scientist, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Viktor Kozodoy met with the administration, teachers and students of the Eurasian International University. This meeting was a big event for the university.

At the meeting, Professor Viktor Kozodoy spoke about his scientific research, his new book “Prince of the Siberian Kyrgyz Erenek” and presented his books as a gift to the scientific community of the University. This historical character lived in the 17th century in Siberia and was still considered to be a Khakass prince. Nightjar proves that Erenek was Kyrgyz. And not Yenisei, as they are usually called, but Siberian. According to his research, the Kyrgyz state before the era extended from the Irtysh to the Amur.

At the end of the meeting, teachers and students were able to ask many interesting questions and get answers.

The administration, teachers and students thanked the guest for the interesting information about the life and activities of the prince of the Siberian Kyrgyz Erenek.

On this significant day, Viktor Ivanovich Kozodoy was awarded the title of honorary professor at EIU. This is an outstanding award that recognizes his outstanding cultural and research achievements, as well as his significant contribution to the educational and cultural environment of our university. The title of honorary professor of EIU was confirmation that his talent and contribution to covering the history of the Kyrgyz people is respected and recognized by our students, faculties and administration.
