February 21 – International Mother Language Day at the Eurasian International University

On February 21, the world celebrates International Mother Language Day, and the Eurasian International University joined in the celebration! This day became a true festival of cultural diversity and linguistic richness.

Within the walls of the university, where students not only from Kyrgyzstan but also from India, Pakistan, Egypt, Bangladesh, and other countries study, the event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Students prepared fascinating presentations about the languages of their countries: Urdu, Arabic, Telugu, Pashto, Bhojpuri, Sindhi, Marathi, and many others. Each story was accompanied by colorful presentations that allowed everyone to dive deeper into the cultures and traditions of different nations.

But the surprises didn’t end there! The participants treated everyone to national dishes from their countries and also presented vibrant performances—songs and dances that became the highlight of the event.

This day reminded everyone of the importance of valuing and preserving native languages, as they are not only a means of communication but also a part of our identity and cultural heritage.

Thank you to everyone who made this day so bright and unforgettable! Let’s continue to respect and learn each other’s languages, because this is where the strength of unity in diversity lies!
