Bullettin of Eurasian International University

Dear Colleagues!

The journal "Bulletin of Eurasian International University" is releasing its inaugural issue. As the chief editor of the journal, I extend a warm welcome to our colleagues and authors.

We are confident that the "Bulletin of Eurasian International University" will be an open and accessible platform for our readers, providing an opportunity for constructive dialogue with both readers and authors of scientific articles. We believe that the journal will take a worthy place among periodicals and be sought after by the academic community. We aspire for the information presented in the pages of the "Bulletin of Eurasian International University" to enrich the worldview of our readers and be utilized in their scientific and practical activities.

Our journal is intended for individuals from various fields of expertise. It serves as an information platform where experiences can be shared, and the results of research work can be announced, showcasing scientific achievements. For young scholars, it is an excellent opportunity to make themselves known, receive recommendations, and perhaps gain support from leading specialists and experts in their scientific field. For more experienced colleagues, it offers the prospect of professional growth and integration with professionals from related disciplines.

The inaugural issue of the "Bulletin of Eurasian International University" is dedicated to the Week of Traditional Music in the Kyrgyz Republic, commemorating the Day of Traditional Music on April 25. This event, celebrated since 2004, is facilitated and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz National Academy of Sciences, the Kyrgyz National Theater "Manas," Osh State University, the Educational Institution "Eurasian International University" and the Foundation "Kyrgyz Traditional Music."

Cultural events held during the Week of Traditional Music in Kyrgyzstan have justified the expectations of scholars, musicians, and educators. These events have united ethnomusicologists and practitioners of traditional musical art with the goal of preserving, developing, and disseminating professional musical art within the oral tradition.

The "Bulletin of Eurasian International University" has created a platform and published scientific articles covering various thematic areas of culture, authored by representatives from neighboring and distant countries.

These articles reflect cultural and research activities taking place in the aforementioned countries, addressing issues in the fields of culture, language, literature, music, film, art, and pedagogy.

For example, the first issue of the journal features significant contributions related to research in traditional musical art, specifically comparing Kazakh and Kyrgyz traditions and their plucked instruments. The authors conducted studies to determine Kazakh-Kyrgyz song connections. In the age of digitization, attention has been given to the digitization of the sound library of Kazakh folk instruments and the application of methods of traditional instrumental music. Extensive analysis has been devoted to the needs of participants in the educational process when organizing research and cultural-enlightenment activities in the field of traditional crafts.

Historical-cultural aspects of transmitting traditional musical professionalism and methodological aspects of oral-folk musical culture are also addressed.

Every scientific contribution is invaluable. We would like to wish our journal high-quality scientific articles and an expansion of the geography of authors.

Authors, we invite you to collaborate!
