The head of the design department EIU was nominated for the competition of national and ethnic clothes «Taikazan»

Bektenova Vinera Emilovna is a designer, head of the Department «Communications, Media and Design» of the Eurasian International University, member of the Union of Designers of the Kyrgyz Republic, member of the Eurasian Union of Designers, academician of the National Academy of Design of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Participant of many national and international scientific conferences, festivals and competitions on clothing design, professional education, artistic culture and aesthetics.
September 8, 2023 in the city of Turkestan (Kazakhstan) was held a contest of national and ethnic clothes «Taikazan» named after the statesman, Ethnographer Zhanibekov. 
The international competition is organized to showcase the unique values and diversity of ethnic costumes in accordance with modern fashion.
The competition was attended by designers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The participants of the competition showed the collections in ethnostyl. The color and features of the national costume were reflected in all the presented collections.
Bektenova V. E., co-authored with Sherimbekova A. N, presented the collection «And lasting longer than a century day».
The collection is made in the avant-garde style, in which the philosophy of the Kyrgyz people is based on the eponymous work of Ch. Aitmatov and was awarded a special prize of the competition.
