Let’s dwell a little on the characterization of such a talented and universally recognized person as Roza Amanova. She was recognized as a public figure, scholar, educator, director, musician, performer of poems, songs, epics, virtuoso playing komuzovye kuu and her inspired works. All this is accompanied by the sincere admiration of the people, and especially that Roza Amanova is a scientist working on the preservation and dissemination of traditional music of the Kyrgyz.
Love of music, singing, and unique manner of performance were characteristic from the very beginning of her creative activity. She received her musical education by studying at the music school. Murataaly Kurenkeev, and later at the National Conservatory, where she specialized in komuz. In her singing activities, Roza Amanova received special incentives for improvement after getting acquainted with outstanding akyns such as Estebes Tursunaliyev, Asek Zhumabaev and Bolush Madazimov.
Roza Asanovna made a great contribution to Kyrgyz traditional music, in particular when performing small epics and dastans. She is the only performer of the whole epic “Kurmanbek” accompanied by the komuz. The peculiarity of her performance is that she sang a large epic work, composing a melody corresponding to each character of the epic “Kurmanbek”.
As a talented teacher and mentor, she has raised students who perform not only in the Kyrgyz Republic but also outside it, pleasing them with victories in various music competitions. With some of her pupils Roza Asanovna created a group «Marzhan», which together with her performs Kyrgyz folk songs, dastans at various concerts and festivals.
