On June 4, 2024, at the initiative of the Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, they held a meeting with the Ambassadors Extraordinary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and India to the Kyrgyz Republic and rectors of higher educational institutions where foreign citizens study.
Orolbek Akparov, Colonel of the Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, introduced the guests to the activities of the Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and spoke about the measures being taken to strengthen the security measures for foreign students. The prompt response of detention groups to alarm signals coming from guarded facilities was clearly demonstrated.
Abazbek uulu Rasul, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, thanked everyone for participating in this event and expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic for timely information on organizing the protection of students’ places of residence.
In turn, representatives of the Embassies and the rector of universities expressed their readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in organizing security issues for foreign students studying in the Kyrgyz Republic.
