Morphological Building

Morphological Building

The Morphological Building, designated for morphological and fundamental disciplines, occupies two floors. On the first floor, there are classrooms, a faculty office, and laboratories for pathological physiology and normal physiology.

An anatomical museum has been established in the Morphological Building, serving two main purposes: educational and demonstrational.
It houses a large collection of individual body parts and whole bodies (both normal and pathological, including plastinated specimens), as well as models of specific organs and body regions. These are studied by students both independently and with the guidance of a consulting instructor.

On the second floor, there are rooms for the "Microbiology Laboratory" and the "Histology Laboratory," both equipped with modern technologies (e.g., microscope images can be projected onto a TV screen), which is very convenient for students to view images of organs, body parts, etc., on a larger display.

Available equipment includes monocular microscopes (XSP-02), biological microscopes (MIKROMED-2 and Mikromed-3), and a collection of prepared microscope slides (Levenhuk 38 NG, Mikromet No. 80, Celestron 100), as well as slides on “Anatomy and Physiology.”
There is also a 3- to 6-channel electrocardiograph, devices for measuring blood pressure and heart rate (both mechanical with a stethoscope and automatic), hand grip dynamometers, and more.

All laboratories and classrooms are equipped with modern computer technology for the convenience of both instructors and students.
