Celebrating Nooruz 2024!

The Eurasian International University hosted a solemn celebration of Nooruz, an ancient traditional holiday celebrated by many peoples of Central Asia and other regions. The founders of the university gathered students, teachers and staff for joint fun and celebration. Also invited to the celebration were such guests as director and screenwriter Dalmira Tilepbergenova, theater and film actress Tailaikan Abazova, Soviet and Kyrgyz neurosurgeon, Doctor of Medical Sciences Mitalip Mamytovich.

The main event of the holiday was the preparation of a traditional dessert - sumolok, which symbolizes abundance and prosperity. A festive table was presented, decorated with bright national patterns, a variety of treats were placed from the traditional cuisine of the Kyrgyz people, as well as the cuisine of India and Pakistan.

In addition, as part of the festive event, a concert program was organized, at which talented students performed songs, dances and other performances reflecting the cultural heritage of various peoples celebrating Nooruz.</p >

The holiday would not be complete without traditional games, such as: "Arkan Tartysh" (Tug of War), "Kyrgyz Kurosh" (Kyrgyz wrestling), "Toguz korgool" ("Nine Peas", "Ordo" ("Khan's Headquarters"). The participating students were awarded certificates and cups.

The celebration of Nooruz at the university was an excellent opportunity to unite different cultures and nationalities in a friendly atmosphere of fun and celebration.
