Happy Ramadan to all Muslim Umma!
In Kyrgyzstan the Holy month of Ramadan will begin on April 2
Ramadan (Ramadan) was the month when the Prophet Muhammad received his first revelation and is marked by fasting from dawn to dusk. Since the Islamic calendar does not coincide with the solar calendar, the date of Orozo Ait changes every year. After 29 or 30 days of fasting, families come together for a special festive meal, donate money to those in need, forgive any transgressions, and recite special prayers. Eid prayer is performed early in the morning in large open spaces, such as Ala-Too Square in Bishkek. After prayer, people visit their friends, neighbors and families.
Families donate money to those in need so that they also have plenty of food and do not go hungry during fasting, as it is forbidden to starve in Orozo Ait. Gifts are given to children, people wear smart clothes. Although Orozo Ait is technically three days, it is celebrated for only one day, on which company employees are usually given a day off.
HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS RAMADAN TO ALL MUSLIM UMMA
