The purpose of the event was the development and popularization of chess in Kyrgyzstan, improving the sports skills of students and teaching staff, promoting a healthy lifestyle, physical improvement, harmonious and comprehensive development of youth. More than 30 participants took part in the tournament. The tournament was held according to the Olympic system. The winners were awarded diplomas and gifts.
The competition was attended by students and teachers of our University, the International Medical University and the Medical and Pharmaceutical College. Following the results of the competition, national teams of universities and colleges will be formed to participate in the student Universiade, the sports contest of colleges and the "Den-Sooluk" sports Contest the teaching staff of universities in Bishkek.

Chess (women): 3rd place - student of Saida Rida Nisar (EMMU)
