The Eurasian International Medical University passed an independent accreditation of educational activities

The Eurasian International Medical University passed an independent accreditation of educational activities for a period of 5 years based on the results of the examination of the independent agency for accreditation of educational organizations and programs "Sapattuu Bilim".

The purpose of this accreditation is to assess and recognize the high quality of the university's activities and the implemented educational program in accordance with the state quality standards of education in the field of "Medical care", which will contribute to the development of the export of medical education. In addition, this is important for students who plan to work or continue their studies abroad, since an application for ECFMG certification and international accreditation by the Independent Accreditation and Rating Agency IAAR has already been scheduled  in September 2021.

Initially, we prepared a large self-report on the assessment of the university, describing the activities of the university in accordance with the nine standards of education and provided supporting documents, then the report was reviewed by a commission of external experts. After the report was accepted, a face-to-face assessment of the expert commission was carried out.

The visit of the expert commission took place at the university on May 27-28, 2021, during which the experts conducted interviews with the rector and vice-rectors of the university, the administration of the Avicenna Medical Clinic, the dean and heads of departments, heads of departments, students and their parents.

There was an interview with representatives of the teaching staff and participation in classes, according to the schedule. The experts also examined the buildings of the university, namely: classrooms and lecture halls, a laboratory center, a morphophysiological building. Vivarium and Museum of Plastination. A separate examination was conducted at the university clinic "Avicenna Medical".

The Expert Commission highly appreciated the quality of educational programs, the qualifications of the teaching staff, the infrastructure of the university, as evidenced by the final assessment of self-report standards in percentage terms - 98.86%.

Thus, on the recommendation of the expert commission, the defense was conducted in the Accreditation Council of the country and received a high rating and the right of accreditation for 5 years.
